Marking an 80th anniversary with a brand, packaging, website, event stand, advertising and catalogue refresh.

The brief

Denman International is a leading hairbrush manufacturer based in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

Our brief was to:

  • Refresh Denman’s image, making it relevant to today’s and tomorrow’s customers
  • Celebrate 80 years without making Denman feel backward looking
  • Leverage Denman’s point of difference – ‘the hairdresser’s hairbrush’ – but to resonate with lifestyle as well as professional customers around the world
  • Create a new product catalogue showcasing the full range and brand story

Our approach

For this anniversary year we wanted to create a stunning new brand look and feel to help reposition the brand and excite customers.

Working collaboratively with Denman’s marketing team we began with the campaign concept ‘Celebrating 80 years around the world’. This introduced new branding, typography and photography which flowed across all brand touch points.
