Inchcape and Toyota
Celebrating a 50-year partnership
The 50 year partnership with global car retail group Inchcape Plc, has helped Toyota become the biggest car manufacturer in the world.
To help mark this milestone in 2017, we were briefed by Inchcape to design and produce a unique anniversary book and marketing materials for a celebratory event taking place in Japan.
The limited edition book charts the growth of the Toyota brand from its beginnings in 1966 as the Borneo Motor Company, through all its major model launches and expansion across the globe with Inchcape.
We commissioned a writer, who researched the book’s story by carrying out numerous interviews with members of the management team, many now retired. We also sourced many historical images to support our illustrated journey of the two brands’ partnership.
For the event, we produced bespoke materials from invitations to jewellery including a short animated launch film.
“We were delighted with the book, and the overall event was a huge success. All the elements had the high-end look and feel that we wanted to help reinforce the importance and strength of our relationship with Toyota.”
